20 People Reveal What Happened to the pretty Girl from Their High School
In high school, the prettiest girls often seemed to have it all—popularity, friends, and the benefits of “pretty privilege.” But high school is just a small chapter in life, and for many, that early peak doesn’t last forever. However, not every story follows the same path. When someone on Quora asked, “What happened to the prettiest girl in your high school?” the responses revealed a fascinating mix of outcomes.

She became an actress, won an Oscar, got married, had kids, and built a wonderful life.
And honestly? She earned it.

She lost touch with reality—refusing to see a dentist or even clean her teeth. She became convinced that the ghost of her dead father was always watching her. It was unsettling, to say the least.

The most attractive girl (in my opinion) was a year ahead of me. We worked together for a few years after high school until I switched jobs and lost touch for about a decade.
Then, we reconnected, started dating, and got married four years later. We’ve now been married for eight years—and I couldn’t be happier.

She became a model and actress in LA and is just as beautiful and kind as ever. Even at 45, she still gets regular work!

She was killed in a car accident six months after graduation. I didn’t know her personally, but she was liked and respected by almost everyone. It was—and still is—a sad story. This happened in 2001.

She got engaged at 19 and married a guy 10 years older right after finishing her English degree. They have a bunch of kids and seem happy and content. She was never the flashy type.

I had no idea until just now because she was never on social media.
I just Googled her name and found out she’s now a university lecturer. She was always smart, but I never knew she was into that subject. Turns out, she also had to get a restraining order against a guy more than twice her age who was stalking her—crazy stuff.
She still looks great.

She became a model and later started her own modeling agency. She’s very successful, but she’s still the same goofy person she was in high school.

She got pregnant and dropped out at the end of junior year. Now, she sings at a really unusual church in town and constantly praises Jesus.

A teacher got her pregnant, and she ended up stuck marrying an older man. So gross.
They didn’t even fire him.
This place is disgusting.

She became a cool, left-winger on the West Coast and, last I saw, a total silver fox—or vixen, I guess. She’s got this wild mane of hair and happy wrinkles.

She earned her PhD in Aerospace Engineering and now travels the world for her research. She still looks like the prettiest girl from my high school.

I think I was in class with the prettiest girl in my high school. She had dirty blonde hair, was tall, and had a beautiful, classy face. Very natural—but we are French.
She had strong opinions on politics and morals, and she was always authentic. When I was bullied, she was the only one who tried to help.
Now, she works for an NGO, helping orphans in Asia. I’m glad she’s still the same—kind, with a big heart.

I married her after we graduated college. We had 31 wonderful years together and two beautiful daughters.
Sadly, she passed away from brain cancer last year at 56. She was gorgeous right to the end—admitted to the hospital on Memorial Day and gone before August.

I married her 52 years ago, and she’s even more beautiful now. I’ve been so blessed!

I do work for her pro bono. I used to watch her kids now and then, help out with chores, give her rides to go shopping, drop her at her family’s place—just the kind of things you’d do for a best friend.
And yet, for some reason, she keeps insisting we’ve been married since 2001 and that all the stuff I’ve been doing is actually mine to deal with.
The audacity!

If you mean the vivacious, outgoing, drop-dead gorgeous blonde—5’8″, blue-eyed, 36C-24-35—who everyone lusted over and who definitely knew how desirable she was, I’ll tell you:
Three marriages, two divorces, two addictions, three kids. No education—because “who needs an education when you’re as stunning as I am?” No money, no future, and at 45, she looks like a rough 65.
But if you mean the 4’11”, slightly overweight, shy girl with the thick glasses—hiding exceptionally pretty eyes—who was easy to talk to and had no idea how beautiful she really was, I’ll tell you that too:
One happy marriage of 25 years, two kids, two grandkids, went back to school, built a good career, and at 47 (much to her husband’s delight), looks like her 23-year-old daughter’s slightly older sibling.
Guess I married the right one.

She turned out to be incredibly intelligent—went to an Ivy League school and became a successful doctor. From what I know, she’s also a genuinely good person. I’m happy for her and her family.

She became a doctor and actually treated my dad a couple of years ago.
Of course, he called me right after to let me know that his hot doctor knew me—and to remind me that I’m an idiot for not marrying her.
